Fireworks

Friday night fireworks over Lake Grapevine no longer take place. There is still a 4th of July fireworks show.

We recommend the following parks for best viewing:

Rockledge Park – entrance fee required, but has the best view.

Lakeview Park – entrance fee required

Oak Grove Park – no fee.

The biggest crowds are usually in Oak Grove Park where the fireworks are actually launched from. The launching area is near the Sand Bass boat ramp.

You can also enjoy the show from the water if you have a boat. It is really nice to sit back on the lake, enjoy some music, and watch the fireworks show on Friday nights. Remember to be safe out there as there are quite a few boats doing this and it is pretty dark on the lake at night.
